How much beer should I submit?
Please submit 3 x 330 mL bottles at least (*3Bottles/Cans at least, regardless on volume)
Please do not include any labels on the bottle as it will be assigned an entry number and labeled as such upon submission. There is NO UPPER LIMIT for the entries can be submitted into same category, but those entries MUST not under the same BJCP styles sub-categories.
Example:
1) submitting Black IPA (21B), Red IPA (21B) and English IPA (12C) for IPA division✅
2) submitting West Coast IPA (21A), Single Hop IPA (21A) and English IPA (12C) for IPA Division❌(Both entries in the same sub-category will still be scored, but only the one with the higher score will be counted for promotion, award, etc.)
How much will it cost me?
First entry: HKD$100, second entry onwards: HK$50.
When/where can I submit my entry?
Collection will take place on 20th (Wed) & 21th (Thu) Nov 2024. Entries please dropped off at collect point (Heroes Brewery) from 18:30 - 21:30. Your beers will be organized into cold storage on site for the judging at the same venue.
When will my beer be judged?
Judging will take place on Saturday, 23rd Nov 2024 from 09:00 - 13:00. The Awards Ceremony + Party will be on the same day PM at Heroes Brewery.
#All entries will be refrigerated until the judging day.
Which category should I submit?
1. Wheat/Light Beers (*BJCP 2021 Guideline Style 1D, 10, 22D, 23A&G, 24A, Lichtenhainer, Piwo Grodziskie or SRM < 6)
2. Pale Ales (*BJCP 2021 Guideline Style 11, 12A&B, 18, 19B and 24B)
3. India Pale Ales (*BJCP 2021 Guideline Style 12C, 21, 22A and X2)
4. Amber/Brown Beers (*SRM = 6-22)
5. Dark Beers (*SRM > 22)
6. Specialty Beers (*BJCP 2021 Guideline Style 28-34)
7. Ciders and Meads (*Cider and Mead Guideline Style M and C)#Please check with HKHA if you are not sure.
